Greetings chairing panels, participants, sponsors and most importantly past, present and future delegates,

I, Abdallah Taweel, have the immense honor of serving as AGMUN's founder and Secretary General. Ain Ghazal stands as a testament to one of humanity’s earliest civilizations, reflecting thousands of years of history, identity, and human development. Inspired by this legacy, Ain Ghazal Model United Nations was established to cultivate a generation of youth capable of leading through diplomacy, intellect, and dialogue.

As the inaugural edition of AGMUN, this conference carries with it not only the responsibility of establishing a high standard of debate and organization, but also the vision of creating a lasting institution that reflects the values upon which it was founded. We believe that diplomacy is not merely the discussion of global affairs, but the ability to understand, communicate, and lead with integrity and purpose.
